The expression, "Like sand through the hour glass of time",
Made me think of the passage of time being like grains of sand passing like minutes, hours and days,
Like the shellfish, a self protection mechanism can turn an irrtating time into a pearl,
Do the sands through the hour glass of time in our life seem painful and irritating?
Or do the sands through the hour glass of time seem beautiful to think about?
My hope is that "like sands through the hour glass" of time,
May our days be like pearls to recall and bring to mind,
Like a special beauty that we have discovered and known,
And out of that discovery a very beautiful life has grown.
