"The Well is not Dry" by Susan Pearl

The beautiful expression, "Hope springs eternal" flows forth-

The well is not dry- the height of the need is matched by the depth of the well,

The well's depth comes from the depth of character of those who serve others,

People who serve for the good of all with hope for betterment by meeting the challenges of our time with selflessness, courage and conviction.  They live their faith with great love bringing hope to all.

Such hope is anew each day because of the ever flowing spring of hope that is reaching out to all of us. To renew and refresh our spirit to know that better times are ahead.

"Hope springs eternal" believing that better times are coming, that the challenging needs will be met and put to rest with the new dawn coming for a new and brighter future.

The well is not dry-the height of the need is matched by the depth of character filled with hope to meet and exceed any need.

"It Has A Name" by Susan Pearl

What causes people to think outside the box,

to imagine what they have not ever known?

Does It have a name?

Yes, it does.

It is something that is a hopeful vision beyond measure-

And it is called- "the spirit of adventure".

"2010 Calendar Surprise" by Susan Pearl

My husband and I have a tendency to save old calendars that have beautiful scenic pictures.  Over the years we have accumulated several old calendars.

I was surprised when my husband showed me that the days and dates of the 2010 calendar matched the days and dates of the 2021 new year calendar.  Then he asked if I would like to use a 2010 calendar because it matched and the only thing different was the year.

I had reservations because isn't New Year's supposed to be--"out with the old and in with the new"?  That doesn't seem like starting a new year out right by putting up an old calendar, especially an eleven year old calendar.

My husband has no hesitation about it.  He can use an old calendar and just change the year.  Am I the only one with this debate?  Who puts up old calendars?  The recycle, reuse way of life is strong in me and after all that is the reason why we saved the calendars was because of the beautiful pictures.  It only makes sense to enjoy the beautiful pictures again and not think anything of it.

"My Bight Star" by Susan Pearl

 YOU ARE MY BRIGHT STAR,

YOUR LOVE KEEPS SHINING THROUGH,

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO.

I CAN COUNT ON YOU-

NO MATTER HOW HARD THE TIMES MAY BE-

YOU ARE THERE TO SHOW A KINDNESS TO ME,

NORTH,SOUTH, EAST OR WEST-

YOU ARE THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON I HAVE EVER MET..

AND IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE

FOR ME TO KNOW THE THOUGHTFULNESS OF YOU.

THERE ARE SOME WHO MAY SAY THIS IS SWEET, SYRUPY AND CORNY,

BUT THERE ARE OTHERS WHO UNDERSTAND

BECAUSE THEY, TOO, HAVE KNOWN THE LOVE OF A VERY GOOD MAN.
