I have been told several times in my lifetime to "push through the pain"--
I know there are times to push through pain will make more endurance for next time--
But---I have to say ---that I do not push through pain--I "listen to it". In my opinion there are times for athletic or conditioning purposes to push through the pain but there are times to stop and listen to the pain. I say to "Listen to your body and be aware of your what it is telling you because you are the only one who really knows your body and you have nothing to prove until you know what is best for you to do.
