An old fossil displayed by a fresh egg
may seem like an unlikely pair.
But, really, one without the other
will lead nowhere.
For we need the good that has come before us to make a way
to be where we are today.
And we need the new life coming on so none would have been in vain.
Because Faith, Hope and Love remain.
